Reasons We’re Needed
“California is projected to fall 1.1 million bachelor’s degrees short of economic demand by 2030. Expanding access to higher education could help shrink the gap, but California also needs to boost the likelihood that students who enroll in college will stay on track to earn degrees.” - source
“The ratio of community college students [in California] to counselors is 615:1. The inability to meet with a counselor or meet with the same counselor over time leads to students guiding themselves or receiving inconsistent guidance.” - source
"More than 3 out of every 4 students entering the community college system declare transfer as their goal, but only 4% of those students do so in two years. Only 19% of students transfer in four years, and 28% do so within six." - source
“Fifty-one percent of currently employed workers around the world say they are watching for or actively seeking a new job.” - source

Feedback
“Sabrina presented to our Professional Womens Group meeting recently and did an amazing job! She created a thoughtful presentation filled with great resources and held a space for women to discuss their career journeys. The women felt heard and empowered after the meeting. I am excited to continue working with Sabrina in the future!” - Britney Bower at Dress for Success San Jose
“What I liked best about Sabrina’s workshop is that she opened the floor to listen to the questions she had, and she answered them in a way that felt like she was relating to our situations. I also like how she had advice for us on how to navigate coming out of college and interviewing.” -Aracely Ramos Sonoma State Undergraduate
“I loved how relatable and applicable the information was to me and where I’m at currently. Loved the examples as well.” -Bethany Martens Sonoma State Undergraduate
